Maintainium Terms of Service (Beta)

Last Updated: March 2026

1. Nature of Service

Maintainium is currently in a "Beta" development phase. The service provides AI-driven software maintenance suggestions and dependency management. By using this service, you acknowledge that the software is provided "as-is" and is intended for evaluation purposes to determine market fit and functional viability.2. Access to Repositories

To provide the service, Maintainium requires read/write access to your designated software repositories (e.g., GitHub, GitLab). You represent that you have the legal right to grant this access. Maintainium will only access the data necessary to perform maintenance tasks and will not share your source code with third parties.

3. User Responsibility & Code Approval

Maintainium is a collaborative tool. While our AI generates code updates and fixes:

The User is the final authority. You are responsible for reviewing, testing, and approving all code changes before they are merged into your production environment.

Maintainium does not "auto-merge" without your oversight.

The User assumes all risk for any code merged into their repositories.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law (specifically under the laws of the State of Utah), Maintainium and its creators shall not be liable for any damages including but not limited to data loss, system downtime, or security vulnerabilities arising from the use of the service. You use Maintainium at your own discretion and risk.

5. Intellectual Property

Your Code: You retain 100% ownership of your original source code and any modifications generated by the AI and merged by you.

Our Service: Maintainium retains ownership of its AI models, branding, and proprietary software logic.

6. No Warranty

Maintainium makes no warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the AI suggestions will always be accurate. We are "bootstrapping" and validating the product; therefore, uptime and support are provided on a best-effort basis.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located within Utah.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms as the business evolves and officially registers as a legal entity. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
